I joke! I know it’s been a while! Life got in the way and a breather was required. This meant taking a break from one of my loves – blogging. But the fashion never ended and what an awesome way to restart blogging than featuring an outfit from the new TTYA4LTS Long Tall Sally Spring clothing line!
Once again TTYA delivers a collection of bold and trendy pieces for us tall girls! I instantly fell in love with the TTYA4LTS Suede Tassel Dress. The dress is made of rich black suede fabric and cut in a modern shift silhouette . The deep v neckline and side cutouts gives this dress a playful sexy feel but is still practical enough to wear a bra for us gals who appreciate some support.
The tassel hemline is what takes this dress to a completely new level. The hemline features an intricate crochet design that tailors into tassels which creates movement as you walk and makes the dress so playful. I paired the dress with oxblood suede lace up heels that complemented the dress brilliantly.
Kudos to TTYA and Long Tall Sally for giving us tall women fabulous fashion options. I look forward to ordering more items from the collection!.
The tunic features a wrap front with a curved hemline and is very generous in length to allow for skinny jeans or leggings.. The cut is extremely forgiving and is perfect for the office or a casual date night. I loved the 3/4 sleeves and the buttoned neckline with peephole was a cute finishing detail to the blouse.
I needed to balance out the fullness of the top with a fitted skinny pants. I wanted to add a pop of color so I paired it with the Supersoft Legging Jeans in Chestnut. The Chestnut color was a bit closer to an oxblood color which I adore for Fall!
When they call these jeans supersoft they weren’t kidding. The jeans were soft to the touch and fit. They had plenty of stretch in the waist and legs but still managed to maintain their shape. Trust me, I loved these jeans so much I wore them 3 times in one week and they didn’t lose their shape.
I’ve been M.I.A for the past few weeks due to an insane work schedule. But it all led up to this wonderful vacation on my gorgeous island of Barbados!!
Today I was roaming the island attempting to find Harrison’s Cave without a map or GPS and got completely lost – PS: asking Bajans for directions is simply hilarious – as it involves instructions such as “turn so (hand gesture) at the brown cow tied to a tree on the left” – They do mean well however, and I love them for it !!
While lost, I stumbled on this awesome mural painted on exposed coral limestone rock. You know this tall chick hopped out and did an impromptu photoshoot. Fortunately my suitcase with my heels were in the trunk so it was sans my flip flops lol. Seriously, I put my heels on while standing in the mural at the side of the road and got some strange looks as the cars drove by!
I fell in love with theASOS TALL Utility Wrap Jumpsuit as soon as I saw it. I seriously stalk the ASOS Tall website as they constantly release trendy and fashionable pieces lately they have been releasing awesome jumpsuits for us tall women.
TheJumpsuit was the perfect length and even had about an inch of give in the inseam – this should make it ideal for taller frames. The tapered leg elongated my already long legs and I loved it! The wrap front with wide lapels gave me a very tuxedo vibe which made this jumpsuit perfect for dressing up for more formal events. The belted waist really finished the outfit.
The fabric was super silky which felt amazing. However, the fabric does wrinkle after sitting and standing for some time.
