I saw this adorable off shoulder top on a number of bloggers and was curious whether I could pull of the length with my six foot frame. I took the risk and I’m so glad I did. The length hit a few inches below my belly button. To counter the length I decided to pair the top with the Alloy Apparel High Waist Skinny Jeans.
The jeans fit snugly and were relatively comfy. I really appreciated the high waist. I’m kinda over the low rise jeans. I enjoy sitting down without flashing people LOL. I’ve been getting plenty mileage off the Sheikh Shoes fringe heels.
I purchased this Loft Tall Jumpsuit months ago but I was waiting for the temperatures to drop before I wore it.
The khaki / army color is one of those colors that works year round but especially during the fall season .The length was perfect and hit right above my ankle. The jumpsuit originally came with a black and white belt which I switched out to coordinate with my heels and handbag.
I paired the khaki color with burnt orange strappy heels and a matching burnt orange woven handbag by Cole Haan.
The jumpsuit is now sold out but similar tall jumpsuits for tall women are available. Here are two of my favorite looks.
One of the fall fashion trends that I am really loving is the army green / olive green color palette. The army green color has been all over the runways and is a favorite go to color for celebrities. Finally us tall women have access to runway trends and some of my favorite tall fashion retailers have offered an abundance of options for us tall girls.I love army green because it can be worn as a neutral with jeans or pairs fantastically with other neutrals such as black, white, brown and nude.
I have picked a few of my favorite Army Green Clothing for Tall Women from retailers Long Tall Sally, ASOS Tall, Alloy Apparel , Dorothy Perkins, Banana Republic and Topshop Tall.
I remember just a few years ago daydreaming of the day I can find a jumpsuit long enough to cover my ankles. I’d walk into stores and find a gorgeous jumpsuit only to look down and realize it hit mid calf.
Jumpsuits for tall women are getting easier to find and I am loving the variety of prints, colors and styles available to us tall ladies.
Online retailers such as ASOS, LOFT, Alloy Apparel have released a number of tall jumpsuits that are perfect for us tall ladies with longer torsos and longer legs and thank god!
Here are a few of my favorite tall jumpsuits for spring and summer.
I love kimonos. They are such an easy way to dress up a basic tee. I mostly love kimonos because they are usually made longer which for us tall ladies is fantastic. With the addition of a belt, you can create a cute blouse that doesn’t look like you borrowed your little sister’s shirt.
I paired the H&M Kimono with a simple black belt, light blue denim from Alloy and blue mirrored sunglasses. I added the Sole Society Portia Caged Heels in Navy to complete the outfit. These gorgeous beauties are available in up to Size 12!
I am sooo enjoying this gorgeous post summer weather. It was 70 degrees and simply gorgeous for my brunch outing in Georgetown. I decided to ignore that silly “no white after Labor Day” rule (seriously, who still follows that nonsense?) and break out my Alloy Santana High Waist Skinny White Jeans.
