I purchased this Loft Tall Jumpsuit months ago but I was waiting for the temperatures to drop before I wore it.
The khaki / army color is one of those colors that works year round but especially during the fall season .The length was perfect and hit right above my ankle. The jumpsuit originally came with a black and white belt which I switched out to coordinate with my heels and handbag.
I paired the khaki color with burnt orange strappy heels and a matching burnt orange woven handbag by Cole Haan.
The jumpsuit is now sold out but similar tall jumpsuits for tall women are available. Here are two of my favorite looks.
I’ve been M.I.A for the past few weeks due to an insane work schedule. But it all led up to this wonderful vacation on my gorgeous island of Barbados!!
Today I was roaming the island attempting to find Harrison’s Cave without a map or GPS and got completely lost – PS: asking Bajans for directions is simply hilarious – as it involves instructions such as “turn so (hand gesture) at the brown cow tied to a tree on the left” – They do mean well however, and I love them for it !!
While lost, I stumbled on this awesome mural painted on exposed coral limestone rock. You know this tall chick hopped out and did an impromptu photoshoot. Fortunately my suitcase with my heels were in the trunk so it was sans my flip flops lol. Seriously, I put my heels on while standing in the mural at the side of the road and got some strange looks as the cars drove by!
I know I’ve been MIA but between work and travel my schedule has been crazy busy. Over the holidays I attended a few holiday parties and one of the staples I wore was myLong Tall Sally Ponte Belted Jumpsuit.
The jumpsuit features a flattering wrap front, tapered leg and 2 side pockets, a detachable gold-toned detail belt, and a “V” back detail.
As usual with Long Tall Sally clothing the length was perfect for this tall lady! In fact, even at 6 feet tall I still had plenty fabric left in the inseam so this would be perfect for even taller gals.
I disliked the belt that the jumpsuit came with, not because it wasn’t stylish, but rather that it just wasn’t substantial enough to define my waist. Instead I swapped it out for a wider gold plated belt which I think truly made the jumpsuit pop.
I love the v wrap neckline of the jumpsuit as it added a subtle hint of sexy to my outfit without overdoing it. I also was extremely pleased with the slight give in the waist which helped camouflage my post Thanksgiving and Christmas indulgences belly bulge! Seriously this was the best part of this tall jumpsuit 🙂
I finished the look with my gold pumps and gold jewelry.
